The veteran producer is a musician, songwriter, and performer who has worked with the likes of Keke Palmer, Mike Posner, Tyga, Layzie Bone, Flo-Rida and many more, and effortlessly merges his versatile talents with Jillisa’s sultry vocals.
Jillisa Lynn asserts that “Don’t Bother” brings the heat on different levels. “I wanted to make a Summer anthem that inspired people to trust in the process, and to dodge the devil,” she explains. ‘The concept of the song comes from everything I’ve been through, and motivation to lift myself up. ‘Let it go, smoke of emotions’ is my favorite line in the song, because you can’t hold onto things that hinder your spirit and growth. Which leads into my second favorite line, ‘watch it grow when you let go’. The cover art is a fun pinup feel, brought to life by artist Katie Bettini. The video will include the same fun concept!”
