MSC Jay -“Take You There” Ft. Rell (Prod by Mr. Hanky)

Today MSC Jay drops his new uptempo track “Take You There” with help from R&B crooner, “Rell” of Roc-a-Fella Records. The energetic bass-heavy track produced by Mr. Hanky (Lil Duval – “Smile B*tch”) embodies a nostalgic sample harkening back to the mid-eighties. Representing the “Geechie Gullah” culture established around the island of St. Helena, South Carolina, MSC Jay is poised to leave his unique mark on the music industry while shedding light on his indigenous heritage.

“Take you there is really a fun type record with a Summertime feel to it. I linked up wit Mr. Hanky, got 3 beats from him and wrote to 2 of them,” MSC Jay explained.  “The last beat I didn’t really know how I was going to come on there so my management sent it to Rell. Rell cooked up da hook and sent it to me and da rest is history”

Rolling into the Summer MSC Jay has a host of spot dates planned along with several radio appearances at regional clubs and concerts. When asked about how he is approaching the promotion of this record, MSC Jay said, “As far as promoting the record goes we gone be hitting the streets, clubs, & internet at the same time with this record. I want it to be done organically to keep people’s attention! ”
