Decked out in luxurious clothing, rising hip hop star Unlvcky Nas releases Velvet to showcase a more fun side of his music. Usually rapping about past struggles, Nas decided to make a club anthem dedicated to the idea that fun is better! With diverse, melodic wordplay and soddy production, Velvet is smooth and catchy on the ears.
“I wanted something to wear my men can smoke weed to and my ladies can shake their a** to,” he said. “Not all music should have a deep focus but the effect of relating to listeners remain the same. We all want to have a good time so let’s do it the velvet way.”
